Terms of Service

trofi.gg Platform User Agreement • Effective Date: September 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms” or “Agreement”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and trofi.gg (“Company”, “Platform”, “we”, “us”) governing your access to and use of the trofi.gg website, APIs, OBS overlays, and related services.

Please review our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

BY REGISTERING FOR, ACCESSING, OR USING THE PLATFORM, YOU CONFIRM THAT: (A) YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS; (B) YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE (OR AT LEAST 13 WITH LEGAL PARENTAL/GUARDIAN CONSENT); AND (C) YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM COMPLIES WITH ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS IN YOUR JURISDICTION.

1. Nature of the Service (Skill-Based Bounties)

1.1. trofi.gg is an interactive technology platform connecting content creators (“Streamers”) and their audiences (“Backers” or “Viewers”) through skill-based video game performance challenges (“Challenges” or “Bounties”).

1.2. Explicit Non-Gambling Disclaimer: The Platform does not facilitate, host, or promote betting, wagering, lotteries, or games of chance. Challenge outcomes are determined solely and exclusively by the in-game skill, dexterity, and performance of the Streamer during a verified live match session, as confirmed by official game publisher telemetry APIs (including PUBG, Valve/Steam, and Riot Games).

1.3. Automatic Verification: Results are evaluated in real time through cryptographically verified server-side API webhooks. If the required in-game metrics (e.g., target kills, placement, weapon restrictions) are satisfied, the challenge is marked as COMPLETED.

2. Payments and Refunds

2.1. Held Funds: When a Backer places or tops up a Bounty, the payment is charged via Stripe, Inc. and held on the platform balance. trofi.gg is not a bank or an escrow agent. The Streamer does not receive payout funds until the challenge is confirmed as successfully completed.

2.2. Automatic Refund Policy: The bounty amount is automatically returned to the Backer’s original payment card (except the non-refundable card processing fee, see 2.3) when:

  • The Streamer manually declines the challenge;
  • The Streamer fails to accept the challenge within 12 hours;
  • The Streamer accepts but fails the conditions within the designated time or attempts;
  • The challenge is voided by platform arbitration due to technical or fair play violations.

Refunds are triggered within 10–15 minutes and reflect on the cardholder statement within 5–10 business days according to standard banking clearing cycles.

2.3. Card Processing Fee: Card payments are subject to a processing fee charged by Stripe (currently about 2.9% + $0.30 per payment; international cards and currency conversion can cost more). At checkout the Backer may choose to cover this fee on top of the Bounty; otherwise it is deducted from the Streamer’s payout. The fee is retained by the payment provider and is not refundable in any case, including refund, cancellation, expiry, chargeback, or payment dispute. If the Backer covered the fee on top of the Bounty, the full Bounty amount is refunded; otherwise the fee is deducted from the refunded amount. trofi.gg does not reimburse processing or dispute fees withheld by the payment provider.

3. Fair Play and Prohibited Activities

Users and Streamers agree to strictly adhere to principles of sportsmanship and competitive integrity. The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Using unauthorized third-party software, hacks, cheats, bots, or memory injections;
  • Collusion, match-fixing, or stream sniping coordinated with other players in the game lobby;
  • Smurfing on bought or deliberately de-ranked low-tier accounts to artificially exploit challenge parameters;
  • Money laundering, stolen card usage, or chargeback manipulation.

4. Platform Fee & Creator Payouts

trofi.gg charges a platform service fee of 10% of the bounty amount on successfully completed challenges. The fee is deducted from the Streamer’s payout and is not added to the Backer’s payment. The card processing fee is described in section 2.3. Payouts are available in the countries listed in the Payment Information, and a Streamer must have connected payouts before accepting a challenge. Creator payouts are distributed via compliant payment gateways including Stripe Connect.

5. Governing Law & Arbitration

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with standard international commercial law principles. In the event of a dispute between users regarding match outcomes, the official telemetry logs provided by the game developer shall serve as the definitive source of truth.
